Welcome to French Canada

We have now crossed the border into our fourth province, and wound the clock back a further hour. We are now five hours behind the UK.

It was a 90 minute drive from industrial Edmundston to coastal Riviere du Loup, which is actually on the St. Lawrence River.

The town has a small beach, quaint high street and a great park/ nature reserve, complete with waterfall and art trail.

No Mooses spotted yet
Spotted so far.
One Newfoundland dog and one Red Squirrel.
One seal, and numerous starfish.
And one live lobster. (no longer alive).
Six covered bridges.
The largest axe.

Location:Riviere-du- Loup, Quebec
